A Fall Celebration at the Shiloh Wedding Venue in Lowgap, North Carolina

As a North Carolina wedding photographer, I know how exciting it is to find the right venue with not only amazing amenities, but also a jaw-dropping view. Combine that with the right person to document it all, the beauty of the people, the day, and the sights, and you’ve got a photo gallery you’ll be flipping through for years to come.
Getting Ready at The Shiloh Wedding Venue
Tiffany and Victoria’s day at The Shiloh wedding venue was full of emotion, beautiful details, and love.
As their photographer and videographer, we knew how important it was to them to relish in every moment. We honored their love by treating each moment with intention and care, giving the space to really live in the moment.
They decided to get ready separately and save their first look for the ceremony. Victoria spent the morning with slow moments with her sisters and mom. Just before getting into her princess ballgown of a wedding dress, she popped a celebratory champagne bottle.
Meanwhile, Tiffany got ready separately and privately, spending time with her friends in the basement of the house on the property. As Victoria was putting the finishing touches on her look, Tiffany sent over a thoughtful gift for her to open just before their private first touch. From there, the early afternoon unfolded with wedding party and family portraits, allowing everyone to settle in and enjoy these moments together before ultimately transitioning into the ceremony.
We love the Shiloh wedding venue because of the expansive space it offers for weddings and events. Situated on a large property, the venue features a main house, multiple event areas, and an open lawn. With the ability to accommodate up to 275 guests, couples can host larger celebrations without feeling crowded. Additionally, the spacious layout allows for a relaxed guest experience and provides endless opportunities for beautiful wedding photography throughout the property.
This venue is especially spectacular. After all, the views of the mountains and the massive willow tree on the lawn are truly jawdropping!
After the ceremony, we had a great time taking couples’ portraits and wedding party portraits with the Blue Ridge Mountains as the backdrop.
