dreaming of unapolgetic lovers
As a Raleigh LGBTQ engagement session photographer, I truly love getting to celebrate any and all love. I was first connected to Emily through her sister Mary, who happens to be one of my best friends, and half of my favorite gay couple out there! I was fortunate enough to capture Mary’s double engagement to Sarah, which is a story for a different time (or you could just click here to read more!)
When I found out Emily and Meredith were getting engaged soon, I was so excited for them! It turns out that Meredith had been secretly planning the “when,” even though Emily knew it was coming soon. Meredith proposed the morning before our Raleigh LGBTQ engagement session, making our time together that much more exciting.
We bonded over their love of green and The Aristocats, while they told me details they had already ironed out in regards to their wedding day. Their day is surely going to be a special one. As a Raleigh LGBTQ engagement photographer, I love to hear all the beautiful details of your love story and your wedding dreams.
Meredith and Emily’s engagement session at Historic Oak View Park in Raleigh, North Carolina was truly a memorable one. The morning may have been hazy and misty, but it truly added to the moody, sultry vibe they were after. At the end of the session, they told me they had a ton of fun. This, along with making my couples feel comfortable and confident, is always my goal. If you’re thinking of having your Raleigh NC LGBTQ engagement session at this beautiful location, reach out to me!

I’m a North Carolina-based wedding and elopement photographer and videographer, always ready to pack a bag for wherever your love takes you. Photography became my passion after losing my dad and realizing how much I wished I had more recent memories of him to look back on. That’s why I do what I do: to preserve the love, laughter, and connection in a way that feels as warm and sentimental as sunshine itself.
Your memories deserve to be captured & remembered. That’s what I’m here for.
