I’m Jena, a North Carolina wedding photographer, and the heart and soul behind Sunshine Sentiments. The name was inspired by my dad’s nickname for me, and the light he brought into my life. After losing him in 2023, I realized how much I cherished the few photos we had together and how much I wished for more. That’s when it hit me: this is what I was meant to do.
Outside of photography, I’m a new wife, a dog mom to Kayuh and Tucker, and a lover of bubbly water, seafood, and Taylor Swift. (Tell me your favorite song here and let’s chat for hours)
