dreaming of unapolgetic lovers

As a Vail wedding photographer, I always dream of beautiful scenery and breathtaking mountains for my couples. A summer wedding here offers exactly that. It’s perfect for adventurous couples who love the outdoors and want to be surrounded by Colorado’s mountains, green forests, and sparkling lakes. This mountain venue will wow your guests and help you create unforgettable memories.
Camp Hale Weddings is tucked away in the White River National Forest, offering couples a breathtaking ceremony site for their special day. Just a 15-minute drive from Vail, 115 miles from Denver, and 150 miles from the Colorado Springs Airport, it’s the perfect location for an intimate micro wedding or a grand wedding day celebration.
This venue has a rich history – it once housed 15,000 American soldiers during World War II, many of whom helped establish Colorado’s ski industry after the war. Today, Camp Hale is operated by Nova Guides and provides couples with a one-of-a-kind experience surrounded by natural beauty.
If you love the nostalgic charm of a summer camp program, you’ll feel right at home here. Couples who are also considering venues like Camp Cedarcrest, Hidden Meadow and Barn, or OVY Camp and Event Center will find Camp Hale Weddings to be a truly unforgettable option.
This beautiful venue offers more than just amazing views. You’ll also enjoy:
These features make it a perfect choice for couples looking for a fun and unforgettable destination wedding in Colorado.
This venue offers an all-inclusive wedding package to make planning easy.
How much does a wedding at Camp Hale cost? A wedding here can accommodate up to 250 guests for the reception and ceremony and costs between $14,000 and $20,000, plus tax and gratuity; please reach out to their website for a custom quote.
They do require you to hire a licensed wedding planner. My personal favorites are Elysian Weddings and Hannah Kathryn Events – they are amazing at what they do!

If you are looking for a mountain aesthetic but not sure this is your perfect venue, I would recommend checking out Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, The Little Nell in Littleton, The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, North Star Gatherings in Idaho Springs, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park.

I’m a North Carolina-based wedding and elopement photographer and videographer, always ready to pack a bag for wherever your love takes you. Photography became my passion after losing my dad and realizing how much I wished I had more recent memories of him to look back on. That’s why I do what I do: to preserve the love, laughter, and connection in a way that feels as warm and sentimental as sunshine itself.
Your memories deserve to be captured & remembered. That’s what I’m here for.
